Join HIPSK
-
If you are an established agency within the housing and homeless-serving system in a Saskatchewan Designated Community, you have the right to join the HIPSK under the same terms and conditions offered to other agencies.
Sub-projects that receive funding under the Designated Community stream will generally be prioritized for HIFIS onboarding in order to meet Reaching Home requirements. Non-Reaching home funded agencies will require governance approval prior to onboarding activities to ensure that only established and trusted organizations have access to HIFIS.
-
Signing on to the HIPSK Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) is a condition of joining the HIPSK as a participating agency. This DSA is an agreement between the HIFIS Lead Organization (SHIP) and Participating Agencies to guide data sharing and document privacy and security protocol decisions.
Meeting minimum technical requirements is another requirement of joining the HIPSK. These are required to ensure that HIFIS 4 is being securely accessed at all agency sites. Agencies interested in joining the HIPSK will receive a questionnaire to help assess their site(s).
Designating a representative for your agency is another requirement of participation. This representative must have capacity to participate in Advisory Council and/or working group meetings, and to communicate with the HIFIS 4 Team on behalf of their agency.
